a day trip to this natural wonder. only a couple of hours from belfast. lucked out with an almost perfect fall day. beautiful breeze. no rain. soft, cloud filtered sunlight. stepping stones from another time. taking you to another place. it's believed that natures eruption formed this intricate pathway of stepping stones descending deep into the bottom of the north Ireland sea and across to Scotland. honeycombed shaped rock erupt from the earths surface. surrounded by ash black rock along the shore. inspiring landscape. thanks to my sister and brother-in-law for taking me here so soon after my arrival.
